Cruzin is good; IF he is not backed p. Call or e-mail FIRST to verify turn-around time. If you need them Quickly then RCENG or MArren is your place. I have used all three of these vendors.

I have had injectors cleaned with "Wynn's" Enviro-Purge Injector Cleaning System and have had very good resulsts. This company makes OEM service equipment but also sells equipment and products to local garages. Check around for a local garage that uses this system.

How good is Cruizen's turn around if they can get your injectors in right away?

if they are not backed up, it will only be a couple of days from the time they recieve them to the time they send them back out. You have to call them and ask how busy they are, and to give them your zip code so they can give you a price on shipping. You pay shipping both ways.

Many local diesel shops have the proper cleaning equipment. They can have the injectors back to you the same day. Get out the yellow pages and call around.

When was the last time they were taken out & cleaned?

No idea? Then they probably have never been cleaned.

A "good time" is whenever they're out for a rebuild/semi-major work, or you have a few days that you don't need your car.

is there a slugged feeling you'll get or something to tell its time for a cleaning?

and is there much of a difference after they get cleaned and blue printed.. just never had this done be for and just don't want to get back in the car after i get this done and think nothing is different performance wise and Mile Per Gallon wise. im going to have my TB ported and polished and getting the ecu 1.5 chipped and was thinking this would be a good time to have this done as well.

I don't know, haven't had mine cleaned yet (waiting for fall when I don't need the car, though I really should have sent them in while the engine was being rebuilt).

The way I look at things like this, it's probably never been done, and can't hurt. Plus, you *know* that they're in good shape once they've been cleaned, so it's one less thing to consider when troubleshooting.

Also, I've seen enough "injector scorecards" from before & after cleaning to be able to say that most injectors, at least on paper, really do benefit from a cleaning.

Does no one search? There have been many injector cleaning topics, all saying the same thing. I normally recommend that you find a local diesel shop that has a gas injector cleaning rig. They do an excellant job, and cheaply as well. My local shop does each injector for $25 (Canadian), they replace all the rubber and give me a printout on the spray pattern. And they're a 5 minute drive from my house. Can't beat that.

i herd you can put 550s in the secondaries on the NA and will give it alit more power but that was just a talk threw and never saw it done to know how it turns out. but any injector will benefit from having a cleaning i talked to this fell on AIM and he said when he got his cleaned that the motor ran a lot smoother at idle and threw out the power band. helped his emissions and fuel mileage. but i know one of use needs to get it done to give a on hand feeling for the deal.i bet every rx7 needs this if its coming out the 80's to now.

Thx for the replies, I'd prefer a local shop vs sending my injectors out any day.
