Where are the ideal locations to install the various sender units?

While I have my motor out, I figured it would be a good time to install sender units for my gauges.

My question is, where are the ideal locations to install the various sender units?

For example:

Boost
Water Temp -
Fuel Pressure
Oil Temp - ex: before or after oil cooler or near the oil filter, etc.
Oil Pressure - same as oil temp?
Exhaust Temp - in the downpipe?

Thanks.

oil temp and oil pressure - get the FC3S oil filter pedistal thing.. cake.

boost- any good vacuum source should be sufficent.

egt is best in the exhaust manifold closet to the motor.. so mine's right next to the o2 sensor in the downpipe :P

fuel pressure not sure how the sender looks for how you can put it into a line.

water temp - the same.. some will splice it into the upper radiator hose like metal tube two clamps and a threaded hole for it.

I was thinking of tapping my thermostat housing that goes to the upper rad hose for the temp sender. that will give me the most accurate reading, no?

if you put it BEFORE the thermostat it'll give you the temp of the engine even when its cold
