where to have the turbo rebuilt?

where to have the turbo rebuilt?

i've been through a few used turbos on my 10AE and i think i'm finally biting the bullit and am going to have the trubo professionally rebuilt. i'm just looking for a reputable company that does good work rebuilding turbochargers. anyone here with a TII have any reccomendations?

no upgrades, lol. my 10AE is just a nice driver that is undergoing a full restoration to o.e. specs. the website you provided lists a stock replacement. very good price!

Most communities have a turbo or diesel shop that can rebuild turbos. The cost is usually reasonable and you are dealing with someone local that will support you.

You might try rebuilding your own and then having it balanced locally? That's what I was leaning towards doing with mine. Then I found a used one with no shaft play for less than it would have cost for the kit and balancing.
