Where is a good 12V source I can tap -'89 Turbo II

I need a 12V source for my wiring for my gauges, I was thinking about wiring my gauges into my cigarette lighter for 12V, but I don't know if that is 12V or 5V, can someone verify this?

The only 5V electrics is some of the ECU's sensors. Everything else is 12V.
