I searched and couldn't quite find what I wanted. I know my clutch master cylinder needs rebuilding and I'm planning to do the slave while I'm at it. Is it worth the extra $ to get the kit through the dealership or will the auto parts store special work just as well?

try mazdatrix.com to compare prices with the dealership but i would just use the parts from the auto parts store if they can get them

 

i got a slave from auto zone for 35 includint tax. go to a local auto store and see what they haveit might be cheaper then you think.

 

I never had a problem with the rebuild kit from discount auto ,napa or pepboys

 

thanks, i'll try to get one here by this weekend. the price of clutch fluid is starting to add up...

I bought a brand new master cylinder for $2 less then the rebuild kit from Auto Zone, has a lifetime warranty...
