where to get extended lugs

where to get extended lugs

i have a pair of 4 lug hubs from a fc that im converting my fb with to run the 4 pot pistons i need to change the lugs but i'm having trouble getting the right spline diamiter, (12.8mm) i will be running a 10mm spacer so need some quite long lugs 70mm ish

I don't know if the studs are the same, but on the 5 lug FC's you can use ARP studs for Corvettes. They're available in 2.5" and 3.25" lengths.

I don't know if the studs are the same, but on the 5 lug FC's you can use ARP studs for Corvettes. They're available in 2.5" and 3.25" lengths.
You got some more info on that? Or possibly a link?

Those are the ARP ones, but are more expensive than other places like Summit Racing. ARP part numbers: 100-7708 for the 2.5" ones, 100-7713 for the 3.25" ones.

Well if you use the 2.5" ones in back it gives just under 1" longer studs, and the 3.25" ones in front give just over 1" longer studs. That's the combo I'm currently using. I think they're a pretty good brand, as you said, well known and I don't think I've ever seen anything bad written about them.

ARP is definitely a legit brand. i wouldn't worry a bit from using their products.

anyone had first had expeiance of using the covette ones? im in the UK and dont want to order them through hearsay as the splines dont seem as long as the stock 4 lug fc ones

had a dig around and the ARP 100-7719 look to be closer to spec of the studs i took out, plus i only need 8 not 10, these are listed for a miata so i guess would be the same.
