well there are two ways of adjusting the tps, checking the ohms (1k-5k sweep) and the mazda check lamp deal. i have just set mine using the dmm method and would like to see what the ecm thinks of it. problem is i cant find the service terminals that are supposed to be behind the mass air flow meter and infront of the passenger side strut tower. all i have there is the idle dashpot, boost sensor, maf, lead for the injector resistor and a four pin check connector. i need to find that stupid three pin green plug.

The 1k-5k ohm sweep is fine. You're picking at a dead cow. Leave it alone if the sweep looks good. If the sweep isn't flowing well, replace the tps. Its best not to use a dmm for the tps btw, makes it hard to spot drops in the tps.
