I've noticed that some people are getting cone intakes and adapters for next to nothing, where are you getting them?

you need the adapter yes, otherwise you wont be able to attatch a cone filter. on my car, i found an adapter on a T2 in a junkyard(lucky me ) and i made a PVC TID.
