Where does this grounding strap go?
Hey folks. It appears as though I havea loose grounding strap knocking around in my car. I wanted to check with some of you experts, since every time I've touched this car recently, I cause more problems.
There is a grounding strap on a wire that runs right next to the alternator positive wire.
Is this the correct location for it to be bolted to?
If not, where does it go?

Can you take an image that doesn't suck?
There aren't any factory grounding straps near the alternator. There is one that runs from the battery negative to the driver shock tower (along the frame) and then ends at the starter. That is the only large factory ground strap.

I don't remember that being a ground strap but maybe a clip once went there from factory to hold something down in that area. The only ground straps in that area you need to worry about are rather obvious looking.
