Where does this go?

I replaced the Clutch on My '90 GTU.

When everything was back together I found this wire was disconnected.

It looks like it is a Temp sensor. Can someone tell me where it goes. I think it goes somewhere around the starter or Clutch slave cylinder.

Thanks

im pretty sure that is the ground for the oil pressure guage, or something like that, anyways, you should definaly ground it, i believe it goes between one of the bolts for the slave cylinder, i had the same question when i changed my clutch

Damn, beat me to it. Yup though thats just a ground for gauges or something to the effect. I apparently need to re-wire mine bc the wire is broken off...

It's a condensor for the oil pressure gauge circuit, shown here (connector C-05). It is usually held under one of the clutch slave cylinder bolts, but any good ground point will work.

It's not held in place by the upper starter bolt. You're thinking of the main battery ground.
