Where do you hook up BOV vaccum when no ACV?

Where do you hook up BOV vaccum when no ACV?

I took of my ACV today and no i have no place to get positive manifold pressure to use for the BOV. i tryed to tap into the same line as the boost gauge and the BOV worked but my boost gauge did not. any help will be great and quick!!

The BOV is supposed to be connected to a nipple on the UIM just behind the BAC valve, so removing the ACV makes no difference to the BOV. However the MAP sensor is connected to a nipple on the AVC. You will need to tee the MAP sensor and boost gauge lines into the BOV line.

I had the BOV and boost gauge tee'd into that same UIM line and the BOV read 0 boost and vac but the BOV worked. maybe i hooked somthing up wrong i dunno.

Drill a hole in your ACV blockoff plate at the location of where the old nipple was. Install a piece of pipe of the same diameter as is used on the other vacuum hoses, in that new hole. Then install your pressure sensors vac hose to that. Be sure to install your orifice in the presusre sensor line and locate it about an inch or so from the blockoff plate.
