MO Where do you get parts?

So I went to autozone tonight to get some parts to do a tune up and found out that they don't really carry anything for the S4. So where can I get plugs, wires, hoses, etc for a tune up?

I have never had a problem get plugs for the S4 or S5 from Napa or Advanced auto.

oreilly auto parts will probably have the plugs, and be able to get a fuel filter and wires pretty quickly.

they may have the upper radiator hose in stock as well. you can always look on their website...it will tell you wether or not something is in stock.

I never have problems getting parts. i got plugs from advanced, alt. from o'reilly's and fuel filter from auto zone. Some of the people who work there arnt very bright, but i find it helps to look online first and bring them a item number when you walk in.

Pep Boys here. They tend to have most things but they do annoy me at times. FWIW they had the plugs, wires and hoses. Though iirc something was funky with the hose I got. I may have cut it I don't remember. And wire connections seemed cheap, I dunno, but functional. If you want peace of mind search the forums for good wire brands and IIRC some people like to get OEM hoses.

people at autozone are usually retarded i sat for five minutes while a guys tried to spell bearing on the keyboard. i was stunned that he was even hired(not really mentally disabled either) just a pure idiot. its better to go online and check to see if they have it. or go to the dealer.

and advance a guy told me i needed 6 spark plugs. i looked at him and said "i have two rotors two plugs per rotor thats four not six were they hell do they other two go" most of those parts stores are just not helpful.

kragen/oreilly on the other hand has also been very helpful for me.

Mazdaspeed...but for non-racers, I have found that Pepboys has most maintenance stuff (spark plugs, belts, etc)

I usually go to napa for tune up stuff. Either that or Victoria British, but only cause they're a block away.

In Yakima, the local Schucks is the place to go for Plugs/Wires/Hoses.

Well, that's not entirely true. There are 3 Schucks in town, and only one of them is worth visiting. I've actually been to this one so much they know me by name xD

They consistently stock plugs/wires/hoses, and they have been able to consistently deliver any part I ask for (brake calipers, hub, spindle). They did not, however, stock an FC fuel filter. There's a local specialty car shop, Triangle Auto Parts, that did. Between those two, I haven't been looking for anything for more than a few days.

(FWIW: The local Autozones are all retarded.)

Going to Autozone for RX-7 parts is like trying to hit up Ebay for a performance part.

Humorously, I live close to Jmkogut, and I had to go to Autozone to pick up hoses the Shucks here didn't carry.

Hah.

Down here, Shucks for big stuff (water pumps and whatnot), Autozone for consumables (Hoses, fluids, etc.)

The Autozone here has me in awe. They have a full selection of redline, royal purple, etc. etc.
