Where do the two wires from the back of the alternator end up?

I need to find out because I no longer have the stock harness and I obviously need to hook up my alternator to where they went to. This is on an 89 TII. I have no idea where they end up Is this in the FSM by any chance?

Hang on and I'll go check. When I installed my haltech, I cut off all the electical tape from the old harness so I could keep those wires. I don't remember where it goes without looking though.

Thanks a bunch! It was going to be a bitch if I had to go through the wiring diagrams or whatever to find it.

Why do you no longer have that harness?

well, my car is a 86GXL so it's probably different than yours. Mine goes through the firewall like the stock harness did, and its attached to a big yellow harness in the passenger side kick panel area.

When I removed my harness, I knew I wanted to keep these, so I got them out of the harness before I removed it. Did you already take your harness out?

I don't have that harness because I am going to be using a microtech on my car. So I sold my stock ECU harness since the microtech comes with a new setup all I need is the plugs for the various sensors and I don't want to just cut up the old brittle plugs. Hopefully it is the samefor my TII. By any chance do you have pics or could you take pics of the "pins" the wires end up at? That way I can just run a new set of wires and splice them in.

The harness the Microtech replaces comes straight out of the ECU, and out the passanger side of the firewall. The plug for the alternator is on a harness that runs on the drivers side of the car.

Am I missing something important here?

Ok, from in the passenger side looking at the kick panel, theres 2 big yellow harnesses. The one that is unplugged is for the stock ECU. The other is plugged in. (First pic) The one that is plugged in has the wires for the alternator. Its the black w/white stripe, and the white w/black stripe. Holding this harness with the lock tab facing you, its the third wires form the left, as seen in the second picture. Black wire goes nearest the lock tab, and the white one goes furthest from it. At the alternator, the black wire is on top and the white one is on bottom. This is on a S4 car.
