Where do these hoses go?

What hoses exactly are these and where do they connect to? Pretty much all I know is that they are coming from the LIM.

Thanks.

the yellow one goes to he reservoir where the cold start fluid is. It should be on the firewall behind the charcoal canister on the passenger side. The reservoir is supposed to have antifreeze in it to inject into the intake manifold when its cold outside.

I don't recognize the red one cause my car doesn't have that one.

thats probably why yours has the extra hose. Mine is a 86 N/A. Its probably a vacuum line because the part those hoses are attached to is just an injector. If you take it off it will have 2 or 3 holes in the under side. I took mine off and blocked off the holes with a plate and pulled the reservoir.

looks like some sort of vaccum hose but i dont see it in the manual at all, which is really weird, also im putting my motor back together and i dont remeber seeing anything but that one for the subzero crap. ill look again tomorrow. you should jus block that LIM, i am and i live in ct, and it can get really cold here, you live in texas i dont think it gets to cold there at all, that subzero **** is jus for when i think it gets below 0*, but im not sure what the exact temp is.
jus block that off and take out that stupid thing

One of the two is supposed to be capped/blocked off. See the free online factory service manual at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com the FUEL SECTION

so from what i'm hearing, i should cap off the line that runs to the cold start resevoir, and just run the vacum line up to the UIM, right?

NO! The original configuration had only one hose going to the reservoir. The other pipe was CAPPED OFF. See the factory service manual at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com the 88 version will do. Go to the FUEL SECTION at the very rear of that chapter are some words about it.

A better solution is: Take both 10mm wrench size nuts off. Remove the device from the manifold. Get some JBWELD and fill the holes left in the manifold. On my 86 I removed the device and JBWELDED a quarter over the holes. FYI The system was removed on a factory service bulletin. They didn't use a quarter though.

That extra hose in your picture should not be there. That was somones mistake.
