where do these go

i just put back seats in my car and these came with all the hardwear and i have absalutly no idea where they go.

the back rest

Those bolt to the body before you put the seat on it I believe, they are like hinges so the back rest for the back seat can lean forward and you can store stuff in your trunk.

guess i dont need them sense i got the seats in and they fit good and recline without those

Ummm.......well the only thing you have holding in the backrest of those seats now is just the latch brackets that attach to the speaker/strut towers, and possibly the carpenting at the base of the backrest where it meets the floor carpet for the trunk area. I'd take the extra bit of time to redo those if I were you. It does not take long, and if you're installing the seats for kids, well, there should be no debate about it

nah i just put them in for looks. i put the latches on already but thats not where they go. i'll post picturs of my reupholstering job
