They are custom. You would need to modify a set of S5 lights yourself.

Stick with stock S4 or S5 or do a little bit of modding on your own with tinting or rearranging reflectors, adding LEDs w/e. Rx-7 owners don't get any more options than that for tails really.

Wouldn't those be illegal in some places, unless using colored bulbs?

These tails are illegal in most states. In Cali you will be pulled over for them, thats for sure.

i'm not sure why they would be illegal... as long as you have red colored bulbs in them and either amber or red in the directionals, you should be fine.. you have refective material rear facing, you would have red running lights / brake lights, amber directional/hazard lights... and the white reverse lights... no problems...

as for me, i've read through the MGL a time or two to figure out what i can and can;t get away with here in MA... sadly, not much i can get away with.

Nope they aren't... Because you can see red reflective material in the lights when they are off.

These have none whatsoever. I remember seeing a video for cali police and what they look for on modified cars. Thats what they look for in the tail lights. If there is no reflective red surface visible from the rear with the lights off, they aren't legal.

All vehicle lights must be DOT approved. If they are not approved (few of the aftermarket lights are, and no custom light is) then they are not legal.

^^ point taken. also modifying DOT approved lights is considered a Statutory offense. (not heavily enforced here, but it is criminal)
