Where do the coolant feed lines go to on the turbo?

OK,
I have a TII conversion and never actually saw how it was set up.

There are two spots.

One is the coolant tube which runs through the LIM to the turbo.

Then there is another which goes from the turbo to a nipple which connects to something. Where does it connect????

Also which is the feed and which is drain?

Thx

It goes to the waterpump, right next to the lower radiator hose (on a stock tII at least) The water pump is the feed, and the intake manifold is the return.

So on the water pump itself there is an off shoot for this or is it on the rubber hose or something?

Right on the water pump there is a nipple.

Hmm I'm going to have to check out my Jspec water pump. I didn't see one on there but maybe I over looked it.

I'm using a S4 NA water pump since the S5 Jspec housing doesn't fit on a S4 front cover.

I can probably Tap the S4 NA housing pretty easy to make a line anyways or make and extension piece with a bung in it.

On a S4 N/a pump, they'd have to run it from the outlet on the back of the water pump (which is what people who turbo their N/A engine's do). Then you can cap the nipple on the rear housing.

Sweet thanks for the tip.

I was wondering about the flow if I tapped after the thermostat but that line is before it so it would be perfect.

I just got my turbo back today after getting it rebuilt and don't want anything to ruin it.
