OMG!!!..... You have totally made my day. That is EXACTLY what I have been trying to find for about 2 months!!!! I searched PIAA, and Hella websites, as well as every car parts website I could find. THANK YOU!!!
I am working on the first (right side) prototype now, tonight I cringed and took a freaking RotoZip tool to my brand new, never yet installed Corksport II bumper. As I was cutting, I kept hearing "Beavis and Butthead" in my mind saying, "hehe hehe hehe, you dumbass...... hehe hehe hehe....." it was scary to say the least, but to make an omelete you gotta break a few eggs.
As soon as get this first one to a point where it is not pathetic looking I will post a pic. I hope to get to that point by tomorrow night so check back to see.
Thanks again for the info,
John

Was also eyeing that same bumper from Corksport to make a type I out of it... I emailed them about the same thing and they indicated they had considered it (and maybe actually done it for themselves), but nothing concrete from them yet. Might hit them up too and get some interest generated. Definitely interested in your results too! Keep us posted!

I will keep you posted. Is the 13b RE the twin turbo one from the 3rd gen? Are you going to swap one of those into your car? If so what would it take to do so.

13b RE is the Cosmo twin turbo engine... I'm still in research mode, but from first impressions, pretty much everything matches up fine as far as tranny, ecu, etc. The main requirement is new motor mounts.
By the way, I'll have an extra RE motor if you're interested.

Long answer: Definitely
Explanation: Anything (within the laws of physics) can be put in anything.
(okay, maybe not anything, but anything within the reach of your skill and wallet!)
