The rear seals went on my 87 tII. I just need to know where i can get a good rebuild kit for a good price? The motor is bone stock so i'm noy looking for any heavy duty or performance seals or springs.

I'm looking at a rebuild (starting this weekend) and have the same question, also wondering if I can hear from people on their experiance with various kits and which is the easyest/most reliable for a daily driver.
Thanks

There is a great thread in the archive about this. Any of the kits mentioned are good for daily drivers, though.

for the whole rebuild kit, yeah. You can mix and match and get one for 450-500 if if you dont need to replace some of the seals, etc. Check out the thread in the archive, it has a detailed list of what you need, where to get it, and how much it costs.

and whats up with the racing beat kits?
and can anyone if not out of there way put out a write-up on carbon, ceramic and steel apex seals?
