Question where can i get a AUTOMATIC turbo ii tranny from?

i know they were common in japan but where can i order one from? and what kind of pricing would it be for the trans and ship? im looking at a S5 GTU with auto tranny that does not go in reverse. and if im replaceing the tranny i might was well use one that is stronger.

I dont think anywhere in the US carries them, definitely reccomend a import shop that regularly orders J-Spec motors, tranny's ect. One I know of is called Japan Direct. They're out of Raleigh, NC. You may be able to get them to bring it over and then have it shipped to you.

Go to Corksport.com...and go to the bottom of the site, click "CLEARANCE BIN". They have 2 trannys for sale right now.

I would say probably not. It's unlikely they used two totally different EC-AT computers, just different programming to suit different engines. The shift program in the computer will be optimised for the engine in the car, so his existing one should be fine.

Of course you can probably expect similar complications as when swapping NA and Turno manual gearboxes, i.e. gearbox and driveshaft length issues...
