heh, well i rewrap all the harnesses with a thermal wrap and being careful while removing them goes a long ways towards making them last.

but plenty of times i pull apart an engine that someone else has worked on, where it looks like they just yanked on all the connectors until they snapped off and then they put them back on loose, only to fall off 2 miles down the road, wondering why their car runs like **** or won't start(sometimes they fall off simply during assembly).

i have a bag with about a hundred bosch clips from the wreckers, which work on the majority of the broken clips. they're easy to find, unclip and replace the crappy wire clip OEM versions with a little modification.

FD clips are a nightmare to find versus the FC stuff.

every older fuel injected car has electrical issues, even the MKIII turbo supra i worked on had worse electrical connections than almost every FC i have worked on. that harness was trashed.
