I want to buy a lower set of gears to put into my car. I know rx7.com carries them, but they only have 4.30 as their lowest. I want something crazy, like 5.12 or something around there. Does anyone know who carries gears this low?? Thanks

Someone had them on a car in New Mexico I think. Think they said the car was used for some type of law enforcement agency. Hes on the forum, or was.

well, you can adapt the 5.12's from a first gen. if you can find them on th parts trader or here in the for sale section. don't know how you would adapt them though. also you know you will need to get the speedo gear from them as well though it prob. won't work prob. best to go to a speedo shop and have them make you a gear to make sure it's accurate. also, you do know your not going to be able to go very fast with that gearing on the highway your going to be pushing almost 5 grand at 80 in fifth if not more.

Good luck.. It's not cheap. SpeedSource in Florida sells them, but IIRC, you have to ship them your diff first.
