Where to buy a supercharger

Anybody know of any places that sell good supercharger kits? What are the pro's and con's of one? Is it worth the money? About how much would it cost? Any info would be great.

Thanks

Nelson enterprises here in Los Angeles use to make a CARB approved (CARB = emissions legal for California) Supercharger kit based on a Paxton blower. it sold for about $3,000, but they are no longer making the kit. I was told by Nelson that not many people are willing to spend $3,000 on a car that you can usually buy the whole car for cheaper then $3K. (hard to argue that) not having a CARB approved supercharger kit available anymore for my RX-7 was one of the main reasons I ended up going with a V8 in my vert.
