where to buy a 1990 turbo 2

Ok, I don't really have a 1990 turbo 2, but i plan on owning one within less than a year.

I am going to be working my @$$ off this summer and even until next january, just to save for an rx-7... I figure I will have about 9k saved up by then... maybe more...

but anyways, if anyone knows of a good place to buy rx-7's or some site that will hook me up w/ an address or phone number or something would be awesome too. oh yeh, I was wondering if there is any way to fix engine flooding? I mean, If there is no mechanical fix you can do, me and my rex will live just fine, but if there is a way, PLEASE let me know!!

=)

Um, they are around every once in a while. Usually they don't seem to be in your area though, especially when you got the money to buy one. My advice though, is when you got the money, take your time and wait for your car to come to you. Don't settle, thats the worst thing you can do.

Sure, you can fix flooding. new or cleaned injectors will fix that.
Good luck in your hunt for an RX-7. Don't limit yourself to just a 1990 TII, as the TII's from 1989-1992 were virtually identical in every aspect.
Really, you're own your own to find one. Expect a high price, and some travel or shipping to get it. Try the for sale section in this forum, and thepartstrader.com. As well, there are several sites that will search for one near your area.

Another topic:
Really, I am starting to see some sense in the NA-TII swap. It is getting damn hard to find a decent S5 TII around here, for a decent price. I can very easily do the swap in an S5 NA, with a Haltech at the same time and still cost less than it would to buy an S5. They are asking $10-$14000 up here.
1990 NA body, blown engine: $1000
Jspec: $1500
Rearend, tranny, clutch, hydraulics, fuel pump, driveshaft, gauge cluster: $4000
Haltech: $1800
Exhaust: $800
Miscellaneous (intake, hoses, etc): $900
And now you have a TII with a haltech, intake, and full exhaust, not to mention a whole slew of NA parts to sell off.

Someone shoot me! the TII swap (in S5 cars only) is actually starting to make sense!

KABOOM. I shot ya. I am actually thinkin of swappin a TII into the old body after I put my n/a into a new chassis. It is just easier than drivin to hell and back, lookin for a decent TII.

Thanx for putting me out of my insanity mindset.
Its just getting near impossible to find a good S5 TII in my area. I was damn lucky to find one.
