when you had your wastegate ported and welded the new door with an exhaust valve i was wondering if you guys just welded it to the arm or had it like the stock setup where it is still allowed to move freely. or how did you guys do it.

Do you mean how the flapper can spin around? If so, theres no reason to try and get it to be able to do that. Just weld it to the arm.
