when to upgrade fuel pump

I've heard that your engine will blow if you mod it alot and don't upgrade the fuel pump and injectors. Is this true and when should you upgrade it. 200hp, 250hp, etc.

for turbo cars yes... your N/A probbaly won't have much trouble. you could find a stock turbo II pump once you start moding alot.

Please not that "alot" doesn't mean exhaust and intake. Alot would refer to a large port job and/or N20 or forced induction...

I probably wouldn't port my engine but I am lookin into the NOS because I only want the extrapower some of the time right now cauz im not that good of a driver yet but maybe in the near future.
