When it rains...

Hey, has anyone ever had a problem that when it rains heavily something is getting wet and the ignition will not come on? This causes two problems for me.

1. drains battery of course

2. cannot turn engine off once started for a few days after it rains.

any help would be greatly greatly appreciated!

Wow that sucks... Your windshield could be leaking, allowing water to get into your electrical do-dads. I'd think that might screw everything up. Check your sunroof drains and windshield... that's my guess.

I mean the ignition will not turn off, not "will not come on".

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah I've tried to look around and see, but I can't see where the water is. I was wondering if anyone could give me a good place to start, maybe something I haven't tried.

I'm going to guess you have a shorted harness. I'm not sure which one would cause your engine to stay running, Hailers or Icemark would be the one to answer that.
