When do you put it in 5th gear

Hey guys, another simple question from me. Ive got a '91 conv. and wanted to know when you put it in 5th gear. When im doing about 60 in 4th its only like at 4000rpm, so i just wanted to know what you guys think.

5th gear? only time id ever use that is highway driving.

If i'm driving slow and have no plans of mass acceleration, around 48-50MPH. Generally around 55-60 though...

ditto. used to at 45 when i first got the car but it's geared tall enough it will bog if i drop much under. so i tend to leave it in 4th in town.

I don't normally hit 5th gear until I hit redline in 4th!
