Wheels and Brake problems

I have a dilema, i bought an 86 as a project car and now i need help. The front left spindle is messed up and nobody makes a replacement to buy. I've been told by several sources that my best bet is to check a salvage yard. Someone offered me a set(of four) spindles, rotors, calipers, basically a new brake system and spindles all the way around the car, but its off an 90 or 91 so i don't know if it will be an exact fitment or not. This would be converting from an 86 4 lug pattern to a 90 or 91 5 lug pattern...will it work?

It'll fit. And it'll be an upgrade, as well. You'll get 4-piston calipers up front, single in the back, with vented rotors (not sure if it's the front, rear, or both). Plus you'll get a 5-lug, which can handle more torque, due to more lug nuts keeping it on...shouldn't be an issue in these cars, though. AND there's a much wider wheel selection in the 5x114.3 department, as opposed to the 4x114.3.

Go for it.

I know its an upgrade, as well as a steal. Check it, spindles, rotors, and calipers all the way around for a buck fifty, but i need tires and rims right...well for 400 i can add in frontline or force line rims(something like that) on toyo tires.
