Unhappy wheelhop!!!

After getting the new clutch finally broken in I've tryed a few launches. My old launch was a straight drop from about 4500, I would roast the hell out of my tires and get sideways, it wasn't the quickest but it was fun and consistent. Over the weekend I tried a straight drop from 4500 and I thought my teeth were going to be rattled out I've since discovered a tricky 4200 slip has given me the best launch...but how can I emliminate any amount of wheelhop?

Go get some cheapo all-seasons and start dropping at a lower RPM. When I put new tires on the car, it hopped liked crazy because it was gripping the ground unlike when I had some crappy Kumho all-seasons.

poor suspension also is to blame for wheel hopping on take offs.

Heh, I'm not an idiot, so hopefully no differential mount for me. I just replaced it with a new one from mazdaspeed. Wouldn't wheelhop be progressive in it's advance onto my car though? Before the clutch went in it was all tire smoking action, now it's teeth chattering

What air pressure are you running in the rear tires? Might want to drop it 2-3 PSI. Also if you have adjustable shocks in the rear, make sure they are on the lowest setting.
