Does anyone have a wheel or tire combo that they really like?

This will be going on a 90 with coilovers.

I would like something decently lightweight in 17 or 16 with a nice street compound. I really don't want anything too exotic for wheels, do the fact that I plan to beat on the car pretty hard and couldn't bring myself to damaging a 500 dollar wheel.


So does anyone have any suggestions for wheel size, off-set, brand, tires, and tire sizes.

I'm not gonna help you because i'm a loser... But I wanna know you guys' opinions on using BLACK rims... or have those been too overdone by the ricers?? WHat about some just colored rims?
What about a metallic blue rattle canned rx with dark colored cheap 5 or 7 spoke rims?

 

I like black because it hides brake dust.
