Wheel Studs and bearings

I need to install longer wheel studs. I have been researching and it seems the front won't be a problem, but some have mentioned that the bearings need replaced in the rear as you can remove the hub without damaging the bearing? Is this the case? Do I need to order bearings before I change out the rear studs? I am hoping to do the DTSS eliminators at the same time as the studs, but the wheel bearings aren't giving me any problems at the moment. Thanks in advance.

You are correctly informed. Separating the rr hub from the bearing housing destroys the bearing cartridge but is required to press out/in the studs. BTW, Why do you need longer studs?

FYI, If you could find a way to heat the Aluminum bearing carrier to ~300degF without cooking the bearing grease, the bearing will fall out without being destroyed.

My current wheels are 17x8.5 +25. I have shine fenders and everything fits perfect, except the studs aren't long enough for me to be comfortable. They barely reach the end of a short open lug nut.
