Wheel spindle for more steering angle?

Hi!

Ive done alot of research to find out how i can get more steering angle on my FC.
The super now angle kit is one solution, but ive also heard something about a spindle from japan making the angle WAY bigger than with the super angle now kit.... Anyone know anything about what im talking about?

no one makes a new spindle, you just cut and weld a new one. not a hard procedure just find a GOOD welder in your local area and take it in one day, explain it and they will either say "well maby" (dont go there) , or "yea no problem" once you find a place the hard part is done. now to figure how much steer you want.

take the distance between the lower ball joint and the steering pickup point on a plane parallel to the ground

next measure the distance your steering arm travels

now on a piece of paper make your triangle
and spec out how far your steering pick up travels
for this you can use some string and some thumb tacks

Now decide how much you can turn your wheel in the fender.

go back to your paper and plot the new distance and overlay that on your previous measurement. and you now have the new distance for your ball joint to pickup point.

Now MAKE SURE YOUR CUTs are TRUE AND STRATE.
take it to your welder and install.

hope this helps

I do beleive RETed tried this at one point and decided that the negative concequences of it outweighed any benefit, so went back to stock. Do a search, there's pictures of a modified spinle floating around.

Mazdatrix now has a steering angle kit. 190 plus shipping. I bought it and it does seriously give you way more angle. Very simular to the super now kit. I rub on something, not sure yet , i just installed the kit.
