wheel spacer ?
i've got wheels that i love for quite a long time and i want to keep them.
As the car is running nicely now, i'm looking in the detail to stay occupied.
the fitment at the rear could be sensibly more flush by adding 5 or 10 mm spacer (not decided yet).
so i'm thinking taking appart the rear hubs, put new bearing, dtss eliminator and longer stud.
For the longer stud, i've seen that some are available on mazdatrix. I've also seen that the arp ones sold for the corvette (not sure what year/model) could fit.
what part would you recommand (link ?)
for the spacer, what i find in general is just a flat ring with five drilling. Does it exist some that fit the center step of the hub, and that would have also this step on the spacer to match the ring i used to center my wheels ?
i understand that by using conic lug nut it's general knowledge that the wheels doesn't need other centering device. Maybe i'm crazy but with conic lug nuts and additional center ring, it feels like there is less vibration at the wheels.
to sum up, what stud can replace the OEM ones to gain 10mm thread minimum ?

my issue with hub centric spacers (thanks for the word) is that i suppose that I need one crafted for the FC, the size of the hub will vary depending on the car they are make for.

for 5-10mm generally the wheel is still seated on the hub enough to not really need anything, however if you still want something, its a pretty simple part. since the centering thing seems to primarily work when you're bolting the wheel on, any material is fine. we run Rota hub centering things on the race car, and they are plastic, and hold up fine.

i might not be really clear i already have a plastic centering ring to center my wheels on the hubs. now the thing is that i want to be able if i add a spacers to center the spacer on the hub, and to center the wheel on the spacer. now in order to achieve this, the spacers need to have some groove, step or chamfer machined into them in order to match the other parts or at least some additional centering items.
for the stud maybe the european ones are not the same as the US model, or maybe wheels are thicker than the OEM items. basically at the moment (no spacer installed), my lug nuts (standard ones) have their head flush with the end of the studs. as the nuts itseflf are roughly 10 mm long, 15 at best, if i add a 10 mm spacer, it will not remain lots of thread. i know that something like 70% of the load is transmitted via the first thread in a typical screw/nut assembly and that usually, after the third thread, there is barely no load transfer. but in this case i prefer play it safe.

Niiiiice i thought it was a member who had a sell going on. The Ishiba kit would be perfect for me. What is te different between the two version ?

i rechecked the website, the V2 is not an option, i only need 10mm maximum, the V2 start at 15mm. I should measure the oem stud to see if the 50mm ones provided with the spacers are enough...

a little late to the thread... I highly recommend the spacers be both hub and wheel centric. I added a wheel centering ring to some 30mm bolt on spacers I have (that were already hub centric) and it changed it from the wheel being super shaky on the highway to fairly smooth.
I got my spacers form motorsport-tech.com
They'll make you really high quality custom spacers.
The hub bore on FCs is 59.5mm, most aftermarket wheels are 73mm bore
