Wheel opinions for a Black RX7

I know there are a ton of questions regarding what wheel looks best on what car. I think they are so plentiful because everyone's car looks a little different so there is no cookie-cutter answer

That being said, I really want to put either Silver or Bronze 5 spoke wheels on my car. 17" max. This is a pic of the 5zigen copse's photoshopped onto an FC.

If anyone can lead me in the right direction regarding what would look good (if these arent your thing) I'd really appreciate it.

I don't know about you, but for my black tII, Im probably getting Konig Holes, the black with silver lip wheels, or something similar. That's just me. Great looking car, bTW.

your car....your wheels.....your money.....why do you care what other people think? everyones opinion differs, get what you like on the car, and what you think looks the best. but those wheels you photoshoped on there look real good.

thanks logan

as for my money , etc .. i guess i havent seen the 'exact' wheel i want yet. something with a decent lip and the 5 spokes. the ADRs look good on jon's maroon fc (i love his car and i have pics of it on my hard drive ) im not sure what they'd look like on black. i wish i could find a pic of some bronze ones as well but ive found them on everything other thena black fc

it comes down to that spending that much money means i want it to be absolutely perfect

i'm in the same boat as you. i have an 88 white TII. I've been looking for 17" 5 spoke for a while. Those rims you Pshoped look sweet on your car. nice ride man.

I like darker rims on black cars, something bronze or gunmetal. I'm thinking about rota sub-zeros for mine, though the widest one they offer is only 7.5".

1fastt2 runs either HRE, or kinesis, they usually run +700$ per wheel.

I've got a black 88 GTU with some crappy 15's on them but I want to get some good wheels as well to go with my TII swap.

I think silver wheels go pretty well with the black(mine has silver mulit spoke on now/almost looks like an integra spoke wheel)

All blacked out rims with a silver lip might look hella sexy though.

Down the road for me, I'm thinking bronze Rota Tarmac's (Volk CE28N replicas), but like incendui said earlier, the widest they come in is 7.5". I'm probably going to paint my car black eventually, so I definitely want bronze wheels no matter what (or gold).

Those 5ZRs in the 1st pic look badass on your car!

I wish I had some better pics, but if you want to check out either of these sets on a black FC....you can come see them in person.

SE37Ks:

My Hasemi's(good luck finding another set of these)

You probably aren't into the red, but those Volks look nasty on my friend's '89. You definitly need new wheels by spring, because you're going to feel left out when we park our TII's next to yours!

Here's a pic of my car with bronze 5 Zigen's on it. That'll give you an idea of what the shade is that 5Z offers. I think black cars look best with either bronze or gun metals (looks meaner)

get 1" bigger in the back (like 16s in front and 17s in the back) for some reason on an FC the back wheels always look smaller. kinda stupid lookin

That one looks really good, as does the first picture at the very top. For the love of god, fix that dent in the front though! The car is absolutely gorgeous except for that.
