wheel offset

Im looking at up grading to a 17 in wheel does any one know if this wheel will fit 17X7.5 4-114.3 45S im mostly concerned about the offset thanks

I don't know for sure, but my guess is that with a 17X7.5 with an offset of 45mm, you're probably going to have interference with the springs/struts in front. 35 would be better. What do the rest of you think?

The stock offset is +40mm

I installed 17x7's with +35mm offset and 215x45-17's tires and there is no rubbing what so ever.

As for +45mm that would definitly bring the inner edge closer to the struts/springs.

With 235's the offset is more critical, I would check the tread width of various tires to see if the gain is worth the risk, the tire size that I choose was almost identical to the stock diameter so the speedo and odo didn't get screwed up
