Thumbs down Wheel hop O\/\/NS me....STILL

okay I replace my rear subframe bushings and rear trailing arm bushings..which I wouldn't recomend unless they were litterally falling apart....and I still have wheel hop!!!! I've tried stiffening my KYB AGXs and still no go!!...I'm wondering what else could be the problem...the only things that I haven't changed out in the rear end are the right and left differntial mounts, the strut mounts, and the anti-swaybar...I'm guessing it could be anyone of those, or all of them...would a broken bump stop cause wheel hop?.....I'm wondering if you can tell just by merly looking at these pieces...if so I'll take some pics of my strut mounts, and r/l differntial mounts....this is driving my crazy!!!!!

Have you checked tire pressure in the rear tires? If they are uneven it may cause hop. Also try experimenting with the pressure, raising it and lowering it. A broken bump stop wont cause hop.....Not too sure about the R & L diff mounts.

yep pressure is equal, tried it at the drags with mt nitto extreme drags at 25 psi and it did it...also at the autoX with my Potensa Re92 at 42 psi and it still did it...

Check into the adjustable rear camber links from Mazdatrix. Maybe try toe eliminator bushings.

When I lowered my car, the wheel hop nearly went away. Now, with a lot stickier tires, I get it occasionally if I drop the clutch too hard. That is from my car hitting the bumpstops hard when I launch. Stiffer springs and shocks would fix that problem, but driving style can fix it too.

Try being smoother when you let out the clutch. It doesnt really have to be slower, just smoother at the engagement point.

but I even get it when I shift into second gear hauling ***...I have pretty stiff springs and shox already

i understand that fc rear suspension/frame is very weak, and that a rear strut bar will help wheel hop

**** that's kind of disturbing. Ever since I upgraded my clutch I got SCARY wheelhop. If I drop it from anything over2k it's hop city. That's how I broke my second differential mount Have you gotten an alignment recently?

no aliment recently....the same thing happens to my anything over 2k I get wheel hop

When did it start(after what mods/etc)? I don't get any wheelhop with no suspension mods and my nitto drags on.

well...hrmm no idea really when I bought the car I got none what so ever....I think it started happening after my front differntial mount broke...then I replaced it....now wheel hop....
