wheel bearings broken?

sounds to me like wheel bearings. I need new ones too. The car doesn't wobble badly at speed (or at all actually) but they will wobble when you tug on them and at solo 2 tech inspection they yelled at me for it several times last season.

Check out madzdatrix.com for the FAQ on front wheel bearing replacement. It's quite a job to replace the front races. There is no access from the rear of the race, so you have to grind out some of the aluminum of the hub behind the race in order to make a space to punch the race out.

Rear wheel bearings are a bitch. You've gotta use a press to get at the bearings, no choice.

I've got a big hydraulic press in the garage. I'm just hoping it's the half shaft that's making all the noise and not the outer wheel bearing. I'll find out this weekend.
