wheel bearings?

ok i have been hearing this deep tones uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh coiming from the back. last two days just for about a minute or so when you first turn the car on and trun slightly and drive or take a slow big turn you can hear somthing that sounds like metal rubbing up against each other. checked all for tires this morning and yip i can move the rear passenger tire when moving it with my hands on the top of the tires and bottom. there is play.

my question is , how long can i drive it like this ? Is it a safety issue? just wated to check and make it wait till i have time to replace it. with school and work i dont have much time. please let me know. also can that grinding noise be anyting else?

thanks again.again only the one tires had play .

well i bought the wheel bearing and it cost about 26 dollars at advanced. will take it to the show tomorrow to have it done.

I was told i am taking a risk everyday driving it cause if the bearing is bad the wheel can fall of at any point.

I would do it myself but you have to heat the part up to get the bearing out and reverse to put it back in. Something I try to tackle myself but when it comes to my safety id rather take it to a shop to have the security.

just thought id let you all know. the cost and trouble it can cause.

Lemme know how much the shop charges you to install that. I have the same problem and this is my daily driver so I'd rather not take it out of commission for awhile if something goes wrong.
