wheel bearing grease
I tried a chisel/flathead/hammer on the grease/dust cap and no budge at all. This has worked on previous cars.
I'm not smart enough to do a proper repack, but I figured if I could get the cap off and push some grease in there It would be better than nothing.
Also, aren't the rear bearings sealed just like the fronts on a FWD?

Don't hammer on the chisel/flathead. Insert the flathead, now twist. Work your way around the whole cap like this. It's not that hard to regrease the front bearings, but then again when I did it it seems that I didn't put in enough. And I was pretty liberal with it. A Haynes manual is very helpful, especially for getting the grease seal for the inner bearings out (I pried at the wrong spot before looking, heh). The rear bearings might be harder, I dunno.

sorry but the flathead won't fit. There is no space between the hub(?) and the cap.
My pawpaw said they make a puller, but I don't see where it would grip to be able to work.

try a big pair of channel locks. open them up as wide as the cap, grab the cap from the end (not from the side) and pull outward while rocking the cap off. I have never had a problem removing a cap this way.
