What's your MPG

Hey GXL fans!!! What kind of mileage are you getting on your second gen NA? I've been getting about 19 miles to the gallon of 93 octane. I just changed my plugs and fixed the 3800 hesitation and I hope it goes up some. Anyway, how much are you guys averaging?

17 right after complete rebuild... I think that the more mods with lighter driving give better gas mileage. Thats just the conclusion I came up with so far.

Series 4 are 16.5 Gallons
Series 5 are 18 Gallons

so you got 13.8
Hope you had some left when you filled up

No problemo
and heres some FC gas tank knowledge for you.
Theres a cup where the fuel pump sits so during hard turns with not too much fuel that is sloshed to the other side of your tank, you always have fuel. Dunno if this is true for many other cars though.

I get 24.5 on the highway with my '87 TII and about 18 in mixed driving around town. My only mods are removal of all emissions crap.

I got 31mpg ONCE! on a long trip, without AC on, fairly level ground. Usual 18-20 city, about 27 hwy. Combined (in SC, not Iceland) was about 24-25.
