whats wrong with our bumpers?

is it me, or does every other FC i see have a misaligned bumper or something? there always seems to be a big gap between the bumper and the hood which doesnt do much for the overall look. even with new paint, it doesnt seem like it will be fixed. is there a way to fix this or do we just have to live with it?

so long as the bumper is tucked tight to the fender you should be able to adjust the hood to the bumper. very simple.

Oh, BTW there should be a rubber seal between the bumper and the hood. Hope this helps.

Are you talking about the gap BETWEEN the panels or are you saying they're slightly higher or lower than each other? If it's the second issue then you can adjust the panels. Move the hood latch up/down, move the headlight covers up/down etc... My headlight covers wer like 1/4" off when I got the car and the hood was the same against the bumper.

never seen a gap in the hood to bumper, sounds like your car or 7s in your area are screwy.

I agree, they're all fine around here too.

Mine's off, but the trailer hitch of a jeep cherokee does that.

I no longer have floor mats on the driver's side of my cars.

I have to add. My 7 is lined up perfectly. Just swapped for a turbo hood and that lined up in a jiff.
