Whats with these @#$% gaskets?!?!

Why is the stupid @#%$ gasket between the LIM and UIM so @#$% hard to @#$% remove?!?!

CHRIST!

Ive been working on that baked on POS for over 2 HOURS NOW!! NOTHING takes it off!!!!!

I noticed that, with my spare LIM and UIM. The gasket is TOUGH to get off.. Best I could do was scrape it.. It was a bit tedious, but oh well..

Spray on gasket remover + razor blade = cut,burning hands...

Seriously though, if you have access to a wire wheel, that usually can take it off pretty quick. Even a wire wheel bit on a drill, put some pressure on it and it takes the stuff right off..

I just found a dremel wheel that takes that gasket stuff off like CRAZY! And its soft enough that it does nothing to the aluminum!!!

Too bad I only had one!

lmao...i used an air chisel once that worked GREAT!!! Any more I use a heavy wire wheel...the last time I had to remove one I accidently port matched all my ports...

lol, sounds like what I was doing until I was like f-this gasket. The dremel was awesome at removing the gaskets. Live and learn.
