Whats the "speedo gear"

Question.

My speedometer dont work. Mech changed cable. Cable was good speedometer still dont work.

He checked in tranny and mention that the transmission that my car has its fairly new and that there is this little piece called "speedo gear" ; and that whoever installed the tranny did not installed these.

Any clue?

If he did not install the speedometer gear in the gearbox...........you've lost all your transmission fluid by now.

A busted gear perhaps, but not installed? Not likely. Crawl under the car and look. It's only a ten mm bolt that holds it in the transmission...if it was installed. It looks like the Icemark picture from the inside of the transmission.
