What's so great about the master rebuild kit

alright os I was on the atkins site and I was just wondering what is so great about the master rebuild kit (besides the fact that it has everything) vs if I were just to buy the Atkins rotor kit+side Seals and aftermarket gasket set? Or would I save money by buying the master kit? I own a S4 TII motor. I also ran by this: http://www.rotaryaviation.com/overhaul_kits.htm is this better than the atkins rotor kit?

Uhm.. Price?

That rotaryaviation kit is like 900 bucks without any gaskets. I'm sure quality will be similar. It comes down to preference.. Which seals you prefer, which o-rings you prefer.

Lots of people hate the atkins apex seals, and lots of people hate the RA water jacket o-rings... its all a matter of choice. I prefer OEM for everything...

I use Mazdatrix rebuild kits, apex seals etc. in my rebuilds. OEM FTW!!!!

Ok but if I buy the rotor kit+side seals+gasket kit. Am I set to rebuild my engine or do I actually have to go all the way and buy a master rebuild?

Most often, the rotor side seals, side seal springs, apex seal springs. metal oil control rings and springs and corner seals can be re-used. Atkins apex seals are cheaper, but cheaper doesn't always mean better. There are numerous threads on engine rebuild parts that others are using.
