What's the RIGHT way to do a safety interior?

I think I calculated out the costs of making my car go even faster and its not really worth it after I get a FMIC. So what i'm looking at now is a FMIC, interior safety stuff for track running, and suspension. I want to do it in that order also. First the FMIC is about the last engine mod i'll probably do for a while so I can boost higher. After that I want to do the interior. I've heard many things about how the only smart way to do the belts is by having them mounted to a roll bar or something like that. I don't want a HUGE roll cage that won't make the car functional anymore for daily driving, but something to meet track regulations. Also for seats, I don't have the kind of money to shell out on Sparco and Recaro stuff, so i'll probably get one of those cheap Mazdaspeed clone things on E-bay until I get rich. Anyways, any pointers on roll cages/belts/seats? Thanks.

well.... cp racing has a track legal roll bar on ebay for like $150.... i have "ractive racing" seats and 4-point harnesses, and they work and look great.... ive seen those mazdaspeed seats.... very nice! my harnesses are bolted to the stock mounting location of the o.e seatbelts (no roll cage yet).... but for probubly about $600, you can have a roll bar, seats, and harnesses.... not bad!! make sure when you install the seats, you do it right w/ grade-8 bolts and reinforce the floorpan
