Whats the price of turbo fc?
What is the price for fc now a days? LIke the turbo model only, how much would a stock s4 t2 with like 150000, and a stock s5 t2 with the same 150000, or anyone have like a price range for the turbo models, like a minimum to a max price, what kind of fc turbo should be worth $6000.
A friend of mine picked up a s4 t2 (133k) for 2000 with low compression. The s5 would be like 1000 more. But a t2 rotary with 150,000 has a blown engine. unless recently rebuilt.
year, and running condition will have a big effect on the price.
But normally a 91 Turbo with 150,000 miles on it and in average condition would be worth:
trade in= $1,304
Private party sale in CA= 1,953
Dealer retail= $3,051
with less than 90K miles and in good condition (needs nothing fixed, new tires, minimal if any dings or other damage, perfect paint, etc) that same car is worth:
Trade in=$2,335
Private party $3,077
Dealer retail $4,314
Generally unless modifications are done intellegently subtract for most modifications as well.
A new motor will not effect value, and a Jspec motor without a rebuild will drop value.

Ya about 4500-6000 would be good but not with 150000 miles because you would probally have to rebuild it because of low compression or u could be running on one rotor like my fried with a 87 t2 and he didnt even now it till the engine blew.
Just got mine for $2000 with 160k, great compression (100psi Front & Back)
Perfect turbo, no shaft or end play
Clean interior, no rips or tears in the seats, missing the usual breakable pieces..
Minimal half *** body damage near the rear quarter by the antenna area.
Working out all the bugs and removed all the emissions junk.
Hopefully have it all back together tonight!
Not to bad I guess

ya 6k for a tII is a rip in less it a very clean very nice and very very fast one
Just payed $3400 for 88 gxl with s4 block s5 turbo full tII convertion, i.e. all the body and motor/tranny/rear diff that makes it a tII plue new racing seats and 2500miles on a rebuild and very clean inside with few mods like front mount intercooler in very nice working order.
o ya don't forget the rims so. thats something i would go by but i don't know if that was a good deal or not but i'm happy.

for S5 there goin from $4000 - $6000 in running order
Look around you may find a good deal.
if it was me i would not pay more than $3600 or even $3400 for a 190k TII FC in fair condition.

A new motor will not effect value
All this is just an academic exercise anyway, since anything for sale is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Now a blown or bad motor would drop that value. Maybe that is what you are thinking. But then the car would not be in either good or average condition, but rather a blown motor would put the car in poor condition status.

Just adding: situation has a lot to do with it.
If you've been looking and can't find a decent TII in your area, and suddenly one pops up neer you, in the color you want, you're going to pay more.
_Good_ FC RX-7s are usually pretty hard to find, so people ask a lot more then book price, and tend to get it.
Especially if you are getting a shop to prep the car for you.
...At least around here.
