well, i finnaly did the t-body mod, didnt really notice any difference till i took it back off and moddified the linkage to open the dual plates the same as the primary butterfly, eliminated the slop. and that only gave better response at low speeds. i dont see what the big deal is.

Its supposed to give overall better throttle response but that may be unnoticable if you dont have your car tuned up.

The point is not necessarily to give better power or response. THe point is to get rid of bullshit in your way. Gaining power/response is just an added bonus. This coupled with vacuum rail removal and BAC removal can turn an hour job of removing the intakes off a motor, into a 10 minute job...

When you remove the secondary plates, you have an opportunity to port the throttle body. You also remove a source of hot coolant warming up the TB.

So cold starts are a pain without the 3000 rpm warmup sequence, eh? Did you remove your BAC or something? The BAC will always maintain a 750 RPM idle, that is its purpose in life.

not when the engines dead cold it'll just stall out... you gota hold the pedal a bit after the TB mod unless it's like 80f outside.
