What's my TurboII worth, anyone interested?
Hello all...
I have been out of the RX7 scene for over a year (not that I ever posted here before). Throughout the last 6 years, I have owned several RX-7s, but this was supposed to be the "project" car. I've owned 4 Turbo2s, 2 GS ('83, '84), and an '89 NA.
I've owned this particular RX-7 for roughly 3-4 years now, and it has been very rewarding. I think it is about time to sell it though, as I don't have a minute of free time to drive or work on it. I'm thinking of putting it on eBay or advertise it on this and other RX-7 forums, but I would like to get an idea of what its worth. I know I cannot recover everything that I have put into it the last couple of years.
1987 TurboII
~150K miles, however it looks like the engine has been rebuilt.

FD Fuel pump
AutoThority ECU upgrade
550cc primaries, 850 GSL-SE secondaries
Sport Competition Boost Gauge (I think I have two of them, actually)
T04B 60-1 P-Trim .68 A/R .96 Exhaust Turbocharger
Custome Exhaust all the way back (3 inch custom downpipe going all the way back into a Bonzai 3 inch straight through chrome muffler. A second Bonzai (identical) muffler was added about 4 months ago, and it has maybe 50 miles on it, at the most. piping for the second muffler is 2 1/4". 3" dual mufflers was tried first, but there was abosolutely NO BACKPRESSURE and the engineer at Bonzai felt it was detrimental, so we changed it.
Intake is a HKS or something similar, I haven't popede the hood in a long time, nor do I remember.
All emissions have been removed and blocked off by custom made blockoff plates (and the nicest block off plates I have seen, I might add). The car had ABS, but that has been removed as well. AC has been removed. Power Steering has been removed. Electric fan is installed with a automatic temperature sensative switch which triggers is on. Always used NGK plugs, and I have about two sets of unused plugs I will include, but a new fuel filter. I also have a Haltec e6K EMS computer that is brand new, just never got installed in the car as well as a Greddy V-Spec intercooler, both brand new. I'm sure I am leaving a lot out, and if ya'll reply with questions, I can fill in the blanks.
The car currently has the turbo removed, so it is not operational. Oh, the turbocharger has a v-band exhaust side, so removal and installation of the turbocharger takes 10 minutes, maximum! New SS hoses for the oil inlet and outlet is installed when the turbocharger was added 6 months ago. I currently do not have a BOV installed, but I have a HKS BOV that I will include. Wastegate spring is set at 9lbs. Exhaust manifold is a SS unit, and the wastegate is a HKS.
Things wrong with the car. Some interior peices were removed (its a 2+2 now). I beleive the differential mount is broken as well as the motor mounts and maybe even the transmission mount. I beleive it needs two new injectors, but I have brand new 1500cc injectors that are low impendance as is the rest of the car. I believe the windshield is cracked. I also have a receipt of spending over $400 on a manual moonroof to replace the sliding unit. It saves a lot of wait, and can be removed. I have a new wind deflector that I can include as well.
I know this post is not every organized, but I need to sell the car asap and that is the reason for this garbeled post. Suggestions are appreciated.

Oh, by the way, the suspension is Koni Yellow adjustables all around sitting in coilovers. Pictures will be sent in a few days of the car

I have to add that GSL-SE injectors are 680cc. Some people believe that there are some 720cc injectors but I am not sure if thats true, doesn't really make sense to change injectors and nothing else. I'd say $5000 maybe, depending on the actual shape of the car inside and out. You don't know when/if the engine has been rebuilt for sure? If you are serious about selling it for a decent amount of money go get a compression test done.
