Whats my FC worth?
Well its a long story, but in effort to get a turbo 2, I must sell my current FC. I will have pics soon, but I wanted to know what everyone thinks I could get out of her. I know shes not worth much as it is, but I need to get something out of it.
1988 na gxl
130,000 miles
Pacesetter header
Punched cat
2.5 inch pipe to muffler (single)
Custom intake
AC PS removed
Custom 5/6 port actuator
Cobalt Autometer A/F Guage with mounted a-pillar setup
Custom shifter
Pioneer 560 premier head unit
Memphis Power Refrence 4 inch and 6 1/2 speakers
Memphis Power Reference 12" sub with sony 1000 watt amp
7k on Energy MXV4 Tires
Rims off an 86 gxl (they look aftermarket, but my firends other 86 has them)
JSP Adjustable Alumminum Spoiler (Functional)
New ball joints
New intake manifold gaskets and injector 0-rings
THe car was just checked out by a mazda tech, and did a tune up. She runs great. He actually is very knowlegable with rotarys, because he is an enthusist himself.
RUn 20-50 oil, changed every 2-3k.
Cons:
Gonna need Clutch soon, Disk does not slip, but the Presusre plate is definatly worn. However, the car is still drivable, I drive it every day to school with no problems, just have to adjust to a small clutch action
The car need painted, it was in a light front end collision(no severe damage) Just bumper, hood, and left from fender were replaced(the hood crinkled, the bumper got all cracked on the bottom, and the fender got dented) , and they were spray painted to match. Personnaly, it does not look bad for spray paint.
Interior- Drivers seat needs repaired. It strarting to split at the seem. Its not real bad and probably could be sown. Floor carpets are dirty, but nothing a set of floor mats cant fix.
Thanks for any feedback, its greatly appriciated!

with rx7s is how much someone will pay. seriously. people get alot of money for their cars when a normal, sane person would only pay like half of what another enthusist will pay. btw i was offered kinda 2500 for my rolling chasis. and im really really not wanting to sell it. but i dont know.

Mines from buffalo, the parts car is from a town down the road, my buddy found his turbo 2 at an auction about 45 mins from out town, and his gxl came from ohio. What can I say, we love our fcs.

Hey now, I'm in high school. I only paid $1000 for mine. Poor guy thought he bent the frame. The front doghouse just shifted a bit. Car runs like its brand new.
And the ricer wing... I dont approve.
At first glance i though it was a civic!
OOOH ouch!!
Im just messing with ya, those can look good. But, like most other exterior modifiactions that are far from stock looking, they cant be done alone. You need something to compliment the wing, like a matching front splitter or something.
